Existing Research AssessMent RFP

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), a contractor to the Beef Checkoff, solicits research proposals in the technical research areas of human nutrition, pre-harvest beef safety, sustainability, and product quality.

Existing Research Assessments include gap analyses, scoping reviews, narrative reviews; existing data analysis/modeling encouraged.

Beefgrants Online Grant Portal

National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, a contractor to the Beef Checkoff, has moved to an online portal, BeefGrants, for managing the grants process and to facilitate the submission and review of grant materials. All portal users will need to log in or set up an account to submit their proposal(s).

Indirect cost statement

The National Cattlemen's Beef Association is a non-profit organization that helps to finance nutrition, sustainability, beef safety, and product quality/meat science research programs by giving Checkoff-funded grants-in-aid to qualified scientists in order to enhance the profit potential for beef/beef products. The National Cattlemen's Beef Association is aware that academic institutions have financial obligations for administering the research grants that are awarded to their faculty members. However, with funds that are made available for research, overhead costs, principal investigator salaries, and equipment purchases will not be considered.
