U.S. beef production= 12,285,731  tonnes vs. global beef production = 69,462,203 tonnes. Therefore, U.S. beef production would be ~18% of global beef production. 

U.S. cattle stocks= 88,841,000 head vs. World cattle stocks= 1,580,000,000 cattle. Therefore, the U.S. would have ~5.6% of the world’s total cattle.
